FINANCIAL PLANNING

HELPING YOU

TRANSITION TO a life of FINANCIAL freedom

Stepping away from full-time work is one of the biggest financial transitions you will ever make. The shift from earning to drawing down savings raises real questions about timing, income, taxes, and long-term security.

I help people who are approaching retirement build a clear path from working out of necessity to working out of choice. With a structured approach to cash flow, investments, and long-term tax planning, you will know exactly what needs to happen between now and when you retire so you can step into the next chapter with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • My approach to financial planning is unique in that it's both very personal and extremely comprehensive. All money decisions stem from personal values, so the deeper I understand what truly matters to you, the better I can do my job. My goal in our relationship is to help you use money as a tool to live a meaningful life. This requires a thorough understanding of who you are, as well as a holistic analysis of your financial situation that goes far beyond just investments. My designation as a Certified Financial Planner (a designation that only 20% of advisors have) and a Certified Public Accountant allows me to deliver prudent advice in a time when laws, regulations, and strategies are always changing. I dig into the weeds so you don't have to. Sales pitch aside, your comfort level with me is the most important aspect of whether or not we should work together. Money is extremely personal so it's important you are comfortable with whoever you entrust with that responsibility.

  • Yes! I'm glad you asked. As a Registered Investment Advisor, I am your "Fiduciary". Meaning, I am legally required to do what is in your best interest and to put your interests ahead of my own. That may sound like common sense, but most advisors are not held to this legal fiduciary standard. It is something I am very proud of and something I take very seriously.

  • Nope. You can end the engagement at any time, for any reason. You will just pay a final bill based on any advisor hours incurred to date that have not yet been billed. For example, if you decided to end the engagement mid-month, you would receive a final bill for that month. There are no account closing fees and no annual obligations.
